Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about training at Footfay

Programs

What age do I need to be?
Our Residency Program is open to players aged 16 and above. Training Camps accept players from age 12. Academy Enrollment is designed for ages 8-16. Individual Training sessions are available to players of any age.
Can I try before committing?
Yes — we offer a one-week trial for the Residency Program. You'll train with the group, experience our meals and accommodation, and get full access to facilities before making any long-term commitment.
What's the difference between programs?
The Residency Program is a full-time live-in experience for players pursuing a professional career. Training Camps are intensive short-term programs during school holidays. Individual Training offers one-on-one sessions for focused skill development. Academy Enrollment combines daily football training with academic support for younger players aged 8-16.
What does a typical training day look like?
A typical day includes a morning technical or tactical session on the pitch, lunch prepared by our private chef, an afternoon team or conditioning session, and gym work. Evenings are reserved for recovery, video analysis, and rest.

Facilities

What is the accommodation like?
Players stay in modern shared rooms within our residential building. All rooms are clean, comfortable, and include bedding and basic amenities. A self-service laundry facility is available on-site.
Are meals included?
Yes. The Residency Program includes lunch and dinner prepared daily by our private chef, plus breakfast food available for self-service. Training Camps include full board — breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Can I use the gym outside training hours?
Yes — gym access is included in all residential programs and you can use it outside of scheduled sessions. Personal gym training sessions with our S&C coach are also available as an optional add-on.

Travel & Logistics

Do I need a visa to come to Spain?
It depends on your nationality. EU/EEA citizens do not require a visa. Players from outside the EU may need a short-stay Schengen visa or a student/sports visa for longer stays. Our team can advise you and provide supporting documentation.
Is airport pickup available?
Yes — airport pickup and drop-off can be arranged on request. Malaga Airport (AGP) is the closest airport, approximately 30 minutes from our facilities. Please let us know your arrival details when you book.
Do the coaches speak English?
Yes — our coaching staff is fully bilingual in English and Spanish. We also have team members who speak Dutch and Arabic to support players from a wider range of backgrounds.

Payments

What payment methods do you accept?
We accept international bank transfers and credit/debit card payments. Payment details will be provided after your enrollment is confirmed. Installment plans may be available for longer-term programs — ask our team for details.
What is the refund policy?
We offer a full refund for cancellations made 30 or more days before your program start date. Cancellations within 30 days may be subject to a partial fee. Trial week participants receive a full refund if they decide not to continue.
